Filmed in my studio across one continuous painting, from the blank orange ground to the finished piece. You watch every decision as it happens: the first graphite mark made without looking,

the colour wheel brought up against the canvas to test temperature rather than shade,

the moment the canvas is turned to be seen from another angle, and the pouring and wiping back that lets the painting answer for itself.

We work through channelling and connection,

colour theory and harmony, composition and perspective, and the harder lessons of allowance, surrender and tension. You will learn how to keep going when the painting stops obeying, and how to let something arrive that you did not plan.
