ALCHEMEA is a cycle of 33 paintings exploring transformation through colour, gesture and ritualised mark-making. Drawing from alchemical symbolism, the series considers painting as a process of material and perceptual change. Through layering, staining and repetition, the works unfold as evolving fields of energy and matter, investigating relationships between body, environment and expanded states of perception.
